Night Owl Ventures is a San Francisco-based private investor in disruptive technologies and industries.

Mick Eddy is the founder of Night Owl Ventures. He spent nearly a decade in Augmented Reality in such roles as Head of Corporate and Business Development and Special Projects for Osterhout Design Group.

During this time, Mick was instrumental in a patent asset sale to Microsoft (MSFT) in 2013 that yielded a 9-figure purchase price as well as raising ~$100m in venture and debt funding.

Founded in 2014, Night Owl Ventures is Mick’s venture fund that invests and advises disruptive technologies and industries. Mick graduated from the University of Southern California and studied at the London School of Economics.
